Video Example

I think this is a classic example of not only shoddy video work, but terrible reporting in general. First of all, the over-use of stock footage, sometimes only tangentially related to what is being talked about, only serves to distract the viewer from what is being said by the reporter. In addition, on the few occasions when Fox actually shoots their own footage, they try for dramatic angles or lighting that in most cases simply ends up looking ridiculous. Finally, there's the fact that a lot of the information given by the narrator is blatantly wrong or overly dramatic to the point where it's hard to take anything he says seriously.
